Graduate Assistants & Teaching Opportunities
To gain professional experience as a writer and/or educator, students may choose from a variety of Graduate Assistantships (GA). GAs work on campus in a wide range of academic and administrative departments as well as assist with the publication of our graduate literary journal, Poor Yorick. GAs have tutored in the Writing Center, produced website copy for the Provost’s Office, developed marketing and social media campaigns for our Public Relations department, and co-taught undergraduate writing courses. GA positions offer fee waivers and a stipend of up to $4,800 per semester. Students interested in a GA position should contact Anthony D’Aries to discuss details.
