Spanish Program Options

All advanced Spanish classes for majors and minors are taught in online synchronous format.

Spanish Major (B.A.) (39 Credit Hours) and Spanish Major (Secondary Education 7-12) (33 Credit Hours)* requirements can be completed online.


Minor in Spanish Translation

The Spanish Translation Minor will be open to all students with at least a minimum of Intermediate Spanish proficiency through completion of SPA 197: Intermediate Spanish Language & Culture II, or by placement examination.

The minor in Spanish Translation requires 18 credit hours = 6 courses. The following courses count toward the minor:

SPA 214 Introduction to Spanish Translation
