Gabriel Bennett – Adjunct Instructor (Sound Design)
Gabriel Bennett (Adjunct Instructor) comes from a background of music performance, audio engineering, and technical theater. In high school, and then again in college, a chance to record as a performer in a recording studio introduced him to what would become his true passion, making others sound their absolute best when being reinforced, amplified, or recorded with audio equipment.
This passion has led Gabriel to work in many related areas, from operating parabolic microphones on the sidelines of state championship football games, to recording symphony orchestras, hip hop artists, and all other manner of music ensembles, to mixing on Broadway, to engineering and installing audio/video systems in university performing arts facilities, to designing audio/video systems for Division 1 sports complexes, university theaters, and multipurpose rooms with cutting edge immersive Digital Cinema systems, and now to helping guide others interested in doing some of the same. The journey continues and continues to excite.
