Arielle Edwards – Adjunct Professor (Sound Design)

Arielle Edwards (Adjunct Professor) is a sound designer and audio engineer who has been working in the field in one way or another since 2001 when she started a fellowship in sound at Arena Stage in Washington DC. A former Assistant Audio Supervisor for the New York Shakespeare Festival and The Public Theater. She has worked on numerous off-broadway productions some highlights include Jack Goes Boating (LAByrinth), Hair (NYSF) and The American Dream and The Sandbox directed by Edward Albee. She recently co-designed the musical RENT (ACT) with her husband Gabriel Bennett. Arielle was awarded the 2006 Connecticut Critics Circle Award for Outstanding sound design for her work on dance of the holy ghosts (Yale Rep). BA Vassar College, MFA Yale School of Drama.
