Admission to Major

After earning a minimum number of semester hours and having met certain other requirements (see undergraduate catalog), students in some majors are required to apply for admission to degree status (also known as Admit to Junior Year):

Ancell School of Business

None required.

Macricostas School of Arts and Sciences

None required.

School of Professional Studies

Elementary, Secondary, and Music Education, and Library Science majors must apply to Dept. of Education chairperson.
Health Education majors must apply to their department chairperson.
Bachelor of Arts in Music and Bachelor of Music majors must apply to their department chairperson.
Social Work majors must apply to the department chairperson.
