2013 Benefit dance at WCSU


DANBURY, CONN. — The Sigma Chi Fraternity and the Department of Music at Western Connecticut State University will host a semi-formal benefit dance to show support for those directly affected by the Sandy Hook tragedy. The dance will be from 6 to 9:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in the Ballroom of the Westside Campus Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Tickets will be $10 for students and $20 for the public, and can be purchased at www.wcsu.edu/tickets or (203) 837-TIXX.

Proceeds will benefit the Ana Grace Fund, a charitable organization created to honor the memory and assist the family of Ana Grace Marquez-Greene, the daughter of WCSU Assistant Professor of Music Jimmy Greene. There will be live entertainment from the Department of Music, along with dancing and appetizers.
