2012 Heineken corporate sales manager to speak Nov. 27

DANBURY, CONN. — Stacey Miller, category manager for corporate sales at Heineken USA, will discuss the importance of using consumer feedback to design effective product promotion strategies in a presentation at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2012, at Western Connecticut State University.

Miller’s talk will address the theme, “Leveraging Consumer Insights to Achieve Higher Performance in the Alcoholic Beverage Industry: A View from Global Experts, the Nielsen Company.” The public is invited to attend the free program in the north ballroom of the Westside Campus Center on the university’s Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury.

“Even though most companies collect and track customer data, the majority of them are not effectively leveraging this information,” the press summary of the presentation said. “Stacey Miller’s presentation will show how the Nielsen Company assists Heineken and other alcoholic beverage firms in understanding the buying patterns and preferences of consumers. Without this kind of information, the beverage industry cannot effectively allocate marketing promotion funds to maximize their share of spending by their most loyal customers.”
