WCSU Wind Ensemble

The WCSU Wind Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Fernando Jiménez, is an ensemble made up of select woodwind, brass, and percussion players along with a contrabass. Modeled on the wind section of a modern orchestra, the Wind Ensemble performs traditional and contemporary pieces for wind band, and frequently premieres new works. Selection for membership is by audition.
