Students and Staff filing a Disciplinary Complaint
Staff Administrators:
- If you are experiencing a difficult, non-compliant student in an administrative office or on campus, you should report the student to your supervisor with detailed information. Date, time, location, and specifics of the incident.
- The supervisor of the department should try and meet with the student to diffuse the situation and let the student know that the behavior will not be permitted. This conversation should happen in an area away from other students.
- If the student is still non-compliant, you can ask the student to leave and call the University Police if the student doesn’t comply. In addition, you can fill out the Behavior Causing Concern in the administrative office form here.
- If you do file a Behavior Causing Concern in an Administrative Office form, the Director of Judicial Affairs will keep you updated on the disciplinary process.
Students
- If you need to file a report regarding another student allegedly violating the Student Code of Conduct, please use the Statement Report form here.
- Please know that you can’t be anonymous. Any student accused of violating the Student Code of Conduct has a right to know who their accuser is.
- If you do file a statement report, the Director of Judicial Affairs will keep you updated on the disciplinary process.
