As a member of the football team in 1969 and 1970, Joseph Giaquinto is a standout athlete. He serves as captain of WestConn’s inaugural squad, for which he scores the first two touchdowns in program history. Over the course of his career, Giaquinto averages 200 rushing and receiving yards per game, earning him the Century Club Award.
