James Krayeske debuts as the first head coach in program history. Prior to his hiring, Krayeske is already a fixture in the Connecticut football scene as well as boasting a proven track record for establishing new programs. A testament to his early success Krayeske’s blossoming gridiron squad is highlighted on local news channels such as Channel 20 and WATR TV on numerous occasions. Individually, Krayeske is a member of the Who’s Who in Football in 1975, earning a citation for Achievement in Football. He also receives the Harrison Kaiser Award for Outstanding Contributions in Coaching as well as the Outstanding Contribution to Football and Youth Award. For his role in building the football program at WestConn, Krayeske is inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2013.
