WCSU alum and tight end Dimitrios Tsesmetzis is invited to two separate XFL showcases, one of which he attends in upstate New York. Shortly afterwards, he is drafted by the D.C. Defenders, joining a roster that boasts Division I talent from major programs like Ohio State. Tsesmetzis joins an elite group of WestConn Football Alumni to make it to the professional level.
