Michael Toscano plays for WestConn from 1999 to 2001 where he serves as a two-time captain. In three seasons as a linebacker, Toscano leads the Colonials in tackles for two seasons, as well as averaging 63 solo tackles and 3.3 sacks per year. He is a member of WestConn’s first football team to achieve an undefeated regular season (10-0). He earns honors in 1999 and 2000 as a selection for the Freedom Football Conference First-Team, ECAC All-Conference Second Team, and the Hewlett Packard All-American Third Team. Toscano returns to his alma mater to serve as a linebacker coach from 2010 to 2018. He is inducted into the WestConn Hall of Fame on October 16th, 2015.
