World Philosophy Day

WORLD PHILOSOPHY DAY: To honor World Philosophy Day, two representatives (and WCSU alumna) from the Connecticut Coalition for Economic and Environmental Justice (CCEEJ) will speak about the work they do in Connecticut. Students from PHI 226 Environmental Philosophy also will be presenting on small projects they have been engaged in during the semester to contribute to WCSU becoming a more sustainable campus.

Everyone is welcome. Bring a friend/family member.

From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Warner Hall 226, Midtown campus

World Philosophy Day is celebrated annually on the third Thursday of November to recognize the value of philosophy in developing human thought and culture.

The event is sponsored by the Department of History, Philosophy, and World Perspectives and the Jane Goodall Center.
