Alyssiah Wiley was a sophomore at Eastern Connecticut State University. Her goal was to be a psychiatrist because she loved helping people, giving advice and giving back to her community. In early 2013, Alyssiah was brutally murdered by her abusive boyfriend. Her mother, Corrinna Martin, says she “was thrust into the fight for awareness and activism.” She began M.O.V.E. Inc to educate and advocate to end domestic violence. We will show a docuseries episode about Alyssiah Wiley’s story, and Corrinna Martin will be our honorable guest speaker.
