THE TV IS DEAD. LONG LIVE TV. MEDIA FRAMING AND BIG BIZ: Communication professor Dr. JC Barone will speak as part of Haas Library’s spring series: (UN)INFORMED: Journalism, Social Media, and the Rise of News as Entertainment which explores the evolution of journalism and news reporting and the impact that social media, news entertainment, disinformation and misinformation have had on activism, politics, and society. The series complements the library’s spring book exhibit: “In Print & In Practice: Ethically Researching and Reporting.” From noon to 1 p.m. in the Ruth Haas Library on the Midtown campus. The public is invited.
