GUEST LECTURE – COREY HERRMANN: Please join us for a talk by Yale University archaeologist Corey Herrmann, who studies pre-Columbian Andean societies, from 2 to 3 p.m. in Warner Hall on the Midtown campus.
As we confront increasingly dangerous and destructive disasters (both “natural” and technological), Herrmann’s archaeological research shows that pre-Columbian Andean sociopolitical institutions were more sophisticated than our own.
Prof. Hermann will be teaching Amazonian Archaeology (ANT298) in the Spring semester in the Anthropology/Sociology program; find it in Open/Close and register.
