DOUGLASS DAY 2025: Join WCSU Libraries, Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion and the Intercultural Affairs Office for Douglass Day 2025, an annual event celebrating Frederick Douglass’ chosen birthday on February 14. Douglass Day 2025 will be on February 18 from noon to 2 p.m. in the Haas Library on the Midtown campus. The event is described as “A “day of love & collective action for Black history.” A key activity is a Transcribe-a-thon, where participants collaborate on a crowdsourcing transcription project related to Black history. Each year features a different project, along with food, music, and a fun atmosphere. The event is free and open to all.
