“DO THE RIGHT THING” SCREENING AND DISCUSSION: Kathwari Spring Seminars presents a screening of Spike Lee’s classic film “Do the Right Thing” followed by a panel discussion about the film and issues dramatized in it that are — 35 years after the film’s release — still flashpoints in U.S. culture. Panelists are WestConn Professors Qur-an Webb and Dr. Carina Bandhauer, WestConn student leader Gabriela Torres, and WestConn Director of Inclusion and Belonging Joshua Sumrell. The film screening begins at 2:30 p.m., and the panel discussion begins at 4:30 p.m. at Greenwood Features, 269 Greenwood Ave. in Bethel.
