ADVENTURE CLUB SQUANTZ POND HIKE: Join the Adventure Club on a moderate hike. This hike is limited to 25 people, and open to all WCSU students, faculty, and staff. Note that transportation is not provided and encourage carpooling with one another; the parking lot can fill up quickly.

What to wear:
Footwear with grippy soles
Shorts/pants appropriate for hiking
hat/gloves
What to consider:
Snack/something to eat
First aid kit
What to avoid:
Cotton. It kills. It does not wick moisture and it does not dry
What to bring:
Small backpack/day pack
Water
Long sleeve shirt/light sweatshirt/layers to regulate sweating
Windbreaker
Words of advice:
Avoid sweating by managing your layers while hiking.
The ground may be wet or slippery. Flat-soled shoes are guaranteed to have you on your rear end. Leave them home. Dress appropriately for November.
