WCSU’s Digital and Interactive Media Arts (DIMA) Degree
In our growing digital world, rapidly-evolving technology and modern styles shape the way we create and consume — and lead to ever-increasing job opportunities.
Digital and media arts is a vast field with careers in design, management and entrepreneurial pursuits or in entertainment, education, medicine, corporate and non-profit organizations.
WCSU’s BA in Digital and Interactive Media Arts (DIMA) brings together art, media production and computer programming to develop skills that prepare you to succeed in numerous digital environments. Through design, discovery, adaptation, code and collaboration, students work on creative solutions. At the end of study, you’ll produce a fully developed work.

Our interdisciplinary degree is supported by three departments – Art, Communication & Media Arts and Computer Science – and offers options for specialization in production or programming. All students work together in core DIMA courses, learning how to integrate knowledge across disciplines and produce fully realized projects from idea to storyboard to production. We recommend that you consider a minor in a field related to your ideal work environment.
We help you develop cutting-edge digital media skills grounded in the liberal arts and focused on collaboration.
