CSI accepting applications for 2025 Orientation Leaders!
Position: Orientation Leaders
Duties and responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive role model for new students and their families
- Attend and actively participate in the Orientation Leader training program
- Become knowledgeable through training on various resources and aspects of the University
- Acquaint new students with campus services, activities, facilities, and campus rules and regulations
- Encourage new students to fully participate in the university environment
- Lead tours and discussion groups for incoming students and/or parents
- Additional responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Requirements / Qualifications
To be eligible for the position, you are required to meet the following:
- Registered for at least 6 credits and have a cumulative 2.0 GPA or above
- Be in good academic and judicial standing
- Be planning to register for the Fall ’25 semester
- Be able to work long days, if needed
- Accessible throughout the academic year to participate in other orientation programs as well as large events at the University, if needed
- Able to stay overnight, room will be provided, if needed
- Desire to assist new students in their transition to campus community
- Desire to be a leader and role-model, including on-campus, online, and in the community
- Be a team player, flexible, adaptable, dependable, and punctual
Selected students will receive stipends and temporary housing (if needed) for this position.
