Kathleen Lindenmayer

Director of the Career Success Center

Kathleen Lindenmayer is thrilled to be the Director of the Career Success Center.  She came to WCSU just a few years ago after some very interesting occupations and adventures.

Captain Kathleen Lindenmayer spent 26 exciting years in the U.S. Navy as an Intelligence Officer.  She served in many domestic and overseas locations performing functions that were on the forefront of major evolutionary change in the U.S. Defense Intelligence Community.    Captain Lindenmayer’s positions ranged from Chiefs of Intelligence to Directorships and Officer-in-Charge.  At each level, she was fortunate to lead operational, administrative and/or technological expansions that demanded creation of new capability with innovative organizational structures.   She also oversaw the manpower, personnel and/or career education and training of a diverse cadre of U.S. Defense and international intelligence professionals.  Highlights of her career included senior positions with the United States European and Africa Commands (in Stuttgart, Germany), the National Navy Staff (the Pentagon and Office of Naval Intelligence) and the Defense Intelligence Agency (Washington, D.C.).  She has supported and served with a variety of forward-based missions in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa

After she transitioned from active duty in 2010, Kathleen enrolled in the WCSU MBA program.  Upon graduation, she accepted a position with the Dean of the Ancell School of Business to support a wide-variety of activities that developed business and community partnerships, supported specialized (AACSB) accreditation, connected the Business School with international, national and regional leaders, and supported many other school initiatives.  In 2016, she became the Director of the University Career Center.  After strategic rebranding, aggressive team building, and university-wide collaboration, the WCSU Career Success Center has developed and integrated some amazing new capabilities to help our students and alumni obtain outstanding support and gain confidence on the road to their exciting career destinations.
