August 23 Cross Registration and Senior Citizen registration begins
August 26 Last day for full-time students to withdraw from the university with 100% refund
August 26 Academic Year begins for faculty
August 27 Classes begin (Full semester courses and 1st half 8-week term)
September 2 Labor Day – No classes – University closed
September 3 Last day for full-time students to withdraw from the university with 90% refund (Full semester and 1 st 8-week term).

Last day for part-time students to withdraw from courses with 100% refund (Full semester and 1 st 8-week term).

Last day to add/drop courses
September 9 Last day for full-time students to withdraw from the university with 60% refund (Full semester and 1 st 8-week term).

September 13 Student Independent Study forms and Faculty Development forms due in Registrar’s Office.
September 17 Enrollment Reporting Census Date (5pm)
September 20 WCSU Day of Service. No morning classes.

Last day to Withdraw from 1 st 8-week term courses.

Last day to submit Pass/Fail Option and Audit forms to the Registrar’s Office.

October 7 Undergraduate Incomplete submission deadline for Spring/Summer 2024
October 18 1 st 8-week term courses end
October 21 Classes begin (2nd 8-week term)
October 22 Midterm grades due.
October 27 Last day for 100% refund (2nd half 8-week courses)
November 1 Undergraduate Graduation Application Deadline for May Commencement
November 3 Last day for 60% refund for 2 nd half 8-week term courses

November 10 Last day to 40% refund for 2 nd half 8-week term courses
November 15 Last day to Withdraw from full semester courses
