Ancell School of Business

Constantine S. Macricostas Entrepreneurial Endowment Fund

Our mission is to encourage entrepreneurship.
We do this by funding entrepreneurial projects within the Ancell School of Business at Western Connecticut State University.
The goal is to benefit WCSU students and the greater Danbury community
by inspiring entrepreneurial activity.

Why the Ancell Entrepreneurial Experience?

The entrepreneurial journey can be exciting, but needs passion, resources, and guidance in order to succeed. Experience is necessary, and WCSU can help!

The idea is to do something that’s a significant undertaking!

How? By identifying opportunities, taking risks, and creating value where it didn’t exist before.

Thanks to the generosity of local entrepreneur and business owner Constantine S. Macricostas, the Ancell Entrepreneurial Experience was created to support entrepreneurial research projects and activities affiliated with the WCSU Ancell School of Business.

The word “entrepreneur” comes from the French terms “entre”, which means between, and “prendre” which means to take. So let’s take action to do something between us that helps solve problems, so we can all learn and grow!
