The story of how we met:
In 1955, I, Gene, attended Danbury State Teacher’s College, as part of the Intensive Training Program instituted to alleviate the teacher shortage. I was assigned to a Robert’s Avenue School sixth grade class. While there, Nancy remembers first seeing me in the hallway.

At that time, we went to places like the Knight Club in NY and Armando’s in Danbury in a group, where we’d fill up the jukebox and dance and enjoy ten cent beverages.

After going our separate ways, we later reconnected through mutual college friends, and have been married since 1962.
