Media Arts engages students in hands-on discovery, experimentation, problem-solving, and the development of original works.
Create the Future of Digital Media.
The Digital and Interactive Media Arts (DIMA) major is designed for students who want to push the boundaries of storytelling, design, and technology. Through hands-on projects and interdisciplinary collaboration, students develop skills in animation, game design, interactive filmmaking, virtual reality, creative coding, and emerging media.
DIMA also integrates digital humanities, exploring how technology intersects with culture, history, and storytelling. Students engage in projects that use interactive media to preserve history, visualize data, and create immersive experiences that deepen our understanding of the world.
Graduates are prepared for careers in game development, animation, immersive media, interactive storytelling, UX/UI design, creative technology, digital humanities research, and digital content creation across industries such as entertainment, education, healthcare, corporate media, museums, and non-profit organizations.
With access to cutting-edge tools and a curriculum focused on innovation, DIMA students don’t just consume media—they create the future of digital experiences.
