If you plan to visit the New York City area, Western Connecticut State University is only 90 minutes north of Manhattan. Guided campus tours run every day, Monday through Friday, at 10am and 2pm. You can also schedule a campus tour.

Most international flights will arrive at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Some students may opt to fly into Newark Liberty International Airport, which is located in New Jersey and is slightly farther away from Danbury. Some flights may also arrive at Laguardia Airport in New York City. Bradley International Airport is located in Hartford, Connecticut and is a convenient one-hour drive from Danbury on Interstate Highway 84.
The easiest way to access campus from New York City is to take the Metro-North Harlem Line from Grand Central Terminal to the Brewster Village Train Station. The HART Bus runs from Brewster to Campus. A taxi service is also available from the train station to campus: Manny’s Taxis (Telephone: 845-279-1398)
