Congratulations on choosing to continue your education at Western Connecticut State University!
Be sure to follow the steps below to ensure a seamless registration process!
In order to register for classes, all full-time transfer students must pay a $200 admissions deposit before they are eligible to register for classes. This deposit signifies your commitment to attend Western.
Students intending to enroll part-time do not have to pay an admissions deposit.
Review the instructions above to identify who your advisor is. Then click the button below to schedule a meeting with your advisor!
Review each item to best prepare for your meeting:
Your username and password are the same as you received when you created your WCSU Student Email account. If you do not have access to your BannerWeb or Student Email, please use the How to Access BannerWeb link, or contact the IT HelpDesk at (203)-837-8467.
During this meeting, your advisor will review your transfer credit evaluation, review our General Education and University requirements, and explain how your transfer credits are being applied to your degree requirements. Your advisor will help you register for the semester and provide you with your registration PIN.
Students may make adjustments to their schedule up until the end of Add/Drop through their BannerWeb accounts or through the Registrar’s Office. Please review the Academic Calendar for all policy deadlines. The best way to Add/Drop courses is by using your BannerWeb account, and the PIN provided during your advisement meeting.
If you are currently taking classes at another institution, don’t forget to request the official transcript from that institution after your final grades have been posted.
If your final transcript is not received by the deadline, it may impact courses that you have registered for.
You may contact your high school to have your transcript submitted to Western (admissions@wcsu.educreate new email) so it can be used to determine your college-level math placement and to potentially waive your language requirement (if your degree program requires it).
