Anthony Merendino

Anthony was fascinated by weather as a little kid.  Growing up in upstate New York he was intrigued how weather could affect people’s lives and how weather patterns could change so quickly.  In high school he decided he wanted to study weather more closely, and was excited to attend classes at Western Connecticut State University.  His favorite season is the winter and he loves the snow.  He is a member of the Meteorology Club and has played ice hockey for Western Connecticut State University.  Anthony would like to pursue a career in the field of theoretical meteorology.  Upon graduation, he would like to attend graduate school, and complete a doctorate in meteorology.  He would like to work for the National Weather Service in the future.
