Eileen Campbell, Department of Nursing
Adjunct faculty member of WCSU since the Fall of 2008, joining the nursing faculty as an Assistant Professor of Nursing in the Fall of 2010. Received ADN from Eugenio Maria de Hostos Community College, Bronx, NY in 1996, BSN from Herbert H. Lehman College, CUNY, Bronx, NY in 2000 and MSN in Nursing, Clinical Nurse Specialist track, WCSU in 2010. Eileen was certified by ANCC as a Clinical Nurse Specialist, Adult Heath in December 2010.
Practicing as a Registered Nurse since 1996 within the areas of home health nursing, community nursing, long term care, medical-surgical and perioperative nursing. Maintains certification and professional practice as a Certified Nurse Operating Room Nurse since 2000.
Member of Sigma Theta Tau International nursing honor society. Recipient of the New Beginnings Nursing Masters Scholarship, WCSU, 2009, the Mary Ann Riley Scholarship, WCSU, 2009, Union Savings Bank Endowed Scholarship, WCSU, 2009. Recipient the Pat Kroah award for Communication, Lehman College, 1999. Received a scholarship from NYU to complete course “Substance Abuse in the Minority Community,” 1995. Authored three published book reviews for the AORN Journal.
