Welcome to Western Connecticut State University's January Orientation
January Orientation is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2015. Students and parents should gather in the Westside Daily Grind.
The snow date is Monday, January 12, 2015 at 6pm in the Westside Campus Center Ballroom.

What is January Orientation?
You and your parents are invited to a special Orientation Session on January 11, 2015 in the Daily Grind on the Westside Campus. Coffee and dessert will be provided at the beginning of the event.
The program will begin in the Daily Grind with check-in along with a coffee, hot cocoa, and dessert social at 1pm, followed by a welcome from President Schmotter, the Provost, and Vice President for Student Affairs in the Westside Campus Center Ballroom at 1:30 p.m.
If you would like to attend January Orientation, we ask that you please call us at 203-837-9700 with your name, major and the number of people that will be attending, or you could respond online by filling out an RSVP form.
On the Westside campus, The Daily Grind in the Campus Center will open at 10 a.m. for students and parents who wish to purchase light refreshments before orientation begins at 1pm. The Midtown Food Court and the Westside Market Place will also be open from 11:00 - 7:00 pm .
Dinner will be available in both the Midtown Food Court and the West Side Campus Center Cafeteria until 7:00 p.m. Resident students will begin using their meal plans. Commuter students staying for the program will receive free meal tickets. Change: Cost for parents is dependent on choice of dinner, pay-as-you-go.
