Workforce Trainers – Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning (WELL)

Workforce Trainers are needed at WestConn! Are you passionate about professional development and eager to share your expertise? The Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning Initiative at Western Connecticut State University (WestConn) is seeking experienced professionals to propose and lead training courses as Workforce Trainers. About the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning Initiative The Initiative establishes a comprehensive ecosystem for developing and delivering continuing education and lifelong learning offerings. Our goal is to expand WestConn’s community impact by providing opportunities for lifelong learning and professional growth that are responsive to regional workforce demands and the development needs of a diverse learner population. Through the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning Initiative, WestConn offers non-credit certificate and micro-credential programs to enhance workforce skills and support professional growth. Examples of current offerings include the Applied Generative AI Certificate, Foundations of Cybersecurity Certificate, and Fundamentals of Medical Interpreting Certificate. Trainer Opportunity WestConn is looking for individuals interested in proposing or leading a training course through the Workforce Education and Lifelong Learning Initiative. As a Workforce Trainer, you will contribute to our key objectives, including enhancing workforce competency, promoting lifelong learning, and supporting regional economic growth.
