Pat Barkman owns and operates Lakeside Gallery in Newtown. Pat taught technical communications, including interpersonal , business and professional speaking, for thirty years. She received her Ph. D. in English (communications) in 1981 and also received a second masters during that time.
Besides her art, Pat runs book discussion groups throughout the State for the Connecticut Humanities Library Council.
