Karin's original story How was rainbow made?,
Introduction:
The rainbow was often compared to a weaved red belt in the myths from the Baltics; that is where the inspiration for this story comes from
page 1: Image - Rain-threads
page 2: Long time ago, there was a joyful little girl who liked to run
on the clouds. One day she was playing she rolled a few spools of
rain-threads off the clouds. They fell into the lake below.
page 3: In the lake with shimmering silver water lived three nymphs. The
nymphs were very crafty and they decided to weave a beautiful belt out
of the rain-threads.

page 7: When the belt was ready, the nymphs threw it up into the sky -
past the clouds, through the sunlight, all the way across the lake. The
people saw the red arch in the sky and called it a rainbow.
