Pre-Chiropractic
Chiropractic schools vary in their prerequisites. It is important for students to determine the specific requirements for each chiropractic school they wish to apply to, in consultation with a pre-health advisor. Most chiropractic schools require the following:
At least 90 credits of undergraduate courses completed including 24 credits in Physical and Life Sciences. Courses may include
- BIO103/BIO104 General Biology I & II
- BIO105/BIO106 Anatomy and Physiology I & II
- CHE110/CHE111 General Chemistry I & II
- CHE210/CHE211 Organic Chemistry I & II
- PHY120/PHY121 General Physics I & II
Other recommended and/or required courses:
- Humanities and Social Sciences (General Education)
- English and Communication (General Education)
- MAT115 or MAT120 Biostatistics or Statistics
Other Requirements:
The GRE is required for some Chiropractic Schools. Shadowing a chiropractor is strongly recommended.
Grades:
Most schools require at least a 3.0 GPA to be considered.
