WCSU LAUNCHES ONLINE LITERARY JOURNAL

The Western Connecticut State University online literary journal, "Poor Yorick: A Journal of Rediscovered Objects," went live on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014. The free journal features creative writing inspired by historical artifacts and can be found at www.pooryorickjournal.com. WCSU RECEIVES ACCREDITATION RENEWAL FROM NEASC

Western Connecticut State University has received notification from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) that the association’s Commission on Institutions of Higher Education has approved the renewal of Western’s accreditation certifying that the university remains in compliance with NEASC’s rigorous standards. In a letter dated June 4, 2014, Commission Chair Jean Wyld informed WCSU President James Schmotter of the action taken on April 25 to continue the university’s accreditation. . ... [read more]
