SENIOR THESIS EXHIBITION
The Senior Thesis Exhibition, featuring the work of WCSU graduating art students, will be on display from noon to 4 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays from Wednesday, April 24, through Monday, June 6, in The Higgins Gallery in Higgins Annex. The exhibition and reception will be free and open to the public.
GRADUATE SEMINAR PRESENTATIONS

GRADUATE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY
On Friday, May 10, the WCSU Division of Graduate Studies will host a commencement ceremony at 7 p.m. in the Feldman Arena of the William O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center. Juanita James, president and CEO of the Fairfield County Community Foundation, will deliver the commencement address. Graduate students who are eligible to receive their master's or doctoral degrees in January, May or August this year and their guests will be invited to the commencement ceremony, with a reception to follow. LYME DISEASE SEMINAR AND HEALTH FAIR
On Tuesday, May 14, WCSU will host Dr. Raphael B. Stricker, IGeneX Laboratory founder; IGeneX President and CEO Dr. Nick Harris and Lyme Disease Association President Pat Smith for a discussion about "Visionaries in Lyme Disease Testing, Treatment, Research and Advocacy" at 6 p.m. in the Ballroom of the Westside Campus Center. There also will be a Lyme-focused health fair with information on prevention, treatment and supportive therapies. The health fair begins at 5 p.m., with speakers starting at 6:30 p.m. The event will be free and the public is invited. WCSU OFF-BROADWAY PRODUCTION

BROWN BAG BOOK CLUB

PLANETARIUM SHOW AND TELESCOPE VIEWING

Committee on General Education meetings
The Committee on General Education meetings are open to anyone in the academic community and we've been really enjoying have so many interested people attend our fall meetings. Please plan to attend one or more of the spring meetings. Agendas will be distributed three days before each meeting. The next meeting will be held in the Student Center, Room 228 from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, May 8.

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS MEETINGS
Alcoholics Anonymous meetings will be held in Alumni Hall every Saturday at 11 p.m. to midnight and every Sunday from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. The meetings are open to the campus community and the general public.
IRB MEETINGS FOR 2013
The Institutional Review Board will meet in the Student Center 228 from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 8. The WCSU IRB no longer requires hard copies of IRB materials. A completed HUM-1 form must accompany all submitted proposals. Digital images of signatures are acceptable on the HUM-1, if you use the Adobe format. If you are unable to provide such a signature(s), you can scan the manually signed signature page and include it with your completed application. The IRB requires that all completed proposals be submitted via email to IRB@wcsu.edu. IRB forms and the link to the required online training programs for protection of human subjects can be found online at wcsu.edu/irb/. IRB questions may be directed to the Chair of the WCSU IRB, Dr. Jessica Eckstein, at x78873. All proposals are due in full by the first of the month for consideration at the next IRB meeting. Any proposal submitted after the first of the month will not be considered until the following month’s meeting.
