     Being an AMA member means joining a network of marketers that's nearly 38,000 strong. 1 - Local AMA chapters exist in cities throughout the United States and Canada. As a member, you'll find new ways to make contacts, share what you know, and learn from experts and innovators in meetings, workshops, and seminars. 2 - Over 20 profession conferences each year. You'll have the opportunity to attend specialized marketing presentations and intensive tutorials, interact with other marketers, and learn from industry innovators. 3 - Members have plenty of opportunities to volunteer at the local and national levels as officers; event planners; members of academic, research, and practitioner councils; and speakers at schools and conferences.
