Bridgewater State blanks Western women, 9-0

DANBURY, CT (Oct. 5) — Bridgewater State University swept the Western Connecticut State University women's tennis team, 9-0 at Westside Courts on Friday afternoon.

The Bears, 7-2 overall and 5-0 in the Little East Conference surrendered just eight games on the afternoon and had a clean sheet on three singles matches and two out of the three doubles competitions.

Western falls to 1-5 overall and are winless in the LEC at 0-4.

The Colonials play host to UMass Dartmouth on Saturday, October 6 at 1 pm.
