Brooks became the first Western Connecticut men's basketball player to eclipse the 2,000 career point
barrier this past week.

The senior guard from Atlanta, Ga. averaged 34.5 points and five assists, while shooting at a .535 percent (23-for-43) clip from the field to lead the Colonials to a 2-0 week.

Brooks produced a season-high 47 points, including a season-best nine three-pointers, to lift Western
Connecticut to a victory against Connecticut College. He converted on a traditional three-point play late
in the second stanza against the Camels to accomplish the milestone.

Four days later, Brooks scored 22 points and handed out seven assists to lead Western to a Little East rival at UMass Dartmouth.
