Woes continue in Florida as WestConn drops pair to Rowan, 4-2 and 14-8

WINTER HAVEN, FL - (March 21) - The Colonials dropped a double header to Rowan Saturday in Florida.
Game one saw the Colonials lose 4-2, after leading 1-0 after five innings. Rowan tied the game in the sixth, and added three runs in the top of the seven to win it.
Starter and loser Bill Armstrong struck out seven yeilding all four runs on six hits.
The Colonials only had four hits and Dan Amarante registered WestConn's only RBI.
Game two saw greater dissapointment, as WestConn scored seven times in the top of the first but pushed across only one more run across over the last six innings.
Starter Joe Mangano had poor defensive support, and Rowan scored four in the third, two of them unearned, and five in the fifth frame.
Zack Dandrea and Ryan Koschmieder had two hits each in the nightcap.
WestConn is now 0-4 on the trip.
The Colonials face Union College (NY) in a double header at noon on Sunday.
