Emmanouil Vogiatzis

Mr. Emmanuel Vogiatzis holds an MSc Degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Lincoln, UK. He has an understanding of electrical engineering and electronics and Advanced Control Systems, with extensive research in universities and industry in technology of measurements, sensors and materials, statistics and process quality control systems, artificial intelligence (neural networks) and database systems.  Between 2003 – 2007, he served as the Managing Director of Photronics Hellas S.A., the European Advanced Software Development Center of Photronics Inc, where he was responsible for data integration and the automation needs of the company’s European semiconductor base.  During that time he co-founded the Hellenic Semiconductor Industry Association, served as its Vice President in 2005, and today is a member of the Technical Chambers of Commerce, Greece. He is the Corporate Senior Quality Engineer at Photronics Inc, Brookfield, CT, USA, working on quality frameworks, measurement correlations and customer standards, statistical analysis and process control, quality documentation and procedures, benchmarking models, lean-manufacturing techniques and cost reduction initiatives for Photomasks manufacturing processes.  He became a Member of ΣXi Scientific Research Society / Western State Connecticut University Chapter in 2015. He looks forward to promoting the chapter’s engineering and technology initiatives, and mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers in a global society.
