WCSU’s class of 2012 graduates
Western administrators, faculty and staff put the finishing touches on the university's 114th commencement, which featured speeches from Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman and Ronald Bruder, founder of the Education for Employment Foundation.
Wyman gave the commencement address at on May 11, 2012, at WCSU’s graduate ceremony in the Feldman Arena of the William A. O'Neill Athletic and Convocation Center. The undergraduate ceremony, with Bruder as the commencement speaker, was on May 13, 2012 at the Westside Athletic Stadium on the Westside campus.
One hundred and sixty graduate students received degrees on May 11, with an additional 11 doctoral candidates receiving degrees at the evening ceremony. Nearly 970 undergraduate students were awarded diplomas at the undergraduate commencement exercises on May 13.
