Science Building (Midtown Campus)

Description: This state-of-the-art science building houses the biology, chemistry, physics, astronomy and meteorology departments. The facility includes classrooms, research laboratories, lecture auditoria, a greenhouse, an observatory, and the WCSU Weather Center.

The new science building was the first state-funded building project to seek LEED Silver certification from the U.S. Green Building Council*.

The U.S. Green Building Council works to promote environmentally responsible and sustainable designed buildings.
