Giorgi Lebanidze’s research focuses on Hegel and Kant. He has a PhD in philosophy from Johns Hopkins University (2016). He also holds a combined BS/MS in physics from Tbilisi State University and an MA from Columbia University. His book—Hegel’s Transcendental Ontology (Lexington Books, 2018 https://rowman.com/ISBN/9781498561334/Hegel’s-Transcendental-Ontology )—offers a new systematic interpretation of the core of Hegel’s metaphysics. He has taught courses on Kant, Hegel, early modern philosophy, 19th & 20th-century European philosophy, ethics, biomedical ethics, philosophy of law, political philosophy, and logic.
