| JUN. 08 | WCSU honors students have developed a website that features centrist position papers developed from statements by both Democratic and Republican political leaders as a way of finding common ground as the U.S. approaches national elections in November. The project is called "Views from the Center." The honors students, along with their professor Dr. Christopher Kukk, and Peter D'Amico, a Newtown businessman who mentors students, will be available at a press conference to unveil the project at 2:30 p.m. in Warner Hall on the university's Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The press conference will open with statements from Kukk and D'Amico, and an introduction of "Views from the Center" by students. The event will be free and the public is invited.
