Dec. 2 PIZZA WITH THE PRESIDENT (WestConn students only)
Dec. 3 INTERNSHIP FAIR:  Student interns in WestConn's health promotion and exercise sciences department will present an overview of their internship experiences from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the first floor of Warner Hall on the university's Midtown campus, 181 White St. in Danbury. The event will be free and the public is invited. For more information, call (203) 837-8612.
Dec. 3 MARATHON:  Charlie Chatterton, professor of Health and Physical Education at Eastern Connecticut State University, will run a 26-lap marathon around the WestConn Midtown campus beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the White Street Gate, 181 White St. in Danbury, to raise awareness about the number of people who live in poverty in the United States. Dec. 5 PLANETARIUM SHOW AND TELESCOPE VIEWING:  WestConn will host a 4:30 p.m. planetarium show, "Winter Skies," followed by telescope viewing of Uranus, the winter sky and the Pleiades star cluster, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at the Westside Observatory and Planetarium on the university's Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. Dec. 10 TELESCOPE VIEWING:  WestConn will host a telescope viewing of Uranus, the Pleiades star cluster, the Orion nebula and the winter sky from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Westside Observatory and Planetarium on the university's Westside campus, 43 Lake Ave. Extension in Danbury. VISITOR PARKING ADVISORY: Western Connecticut State University offers several convenient, centrally located parking spaces for visitors to the university’s Midtown and Westside campuses in Danbury. Midtown visitor parking is in the lot next to Old Main and in designated spaces next to University Hall. Parking in the university’s White Street garage is restricted to commuter students, faculty and staff from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday; visitors are welcome to park in the garage all other times. Westside visitor parking is on University Boulevard. Visitors who cannot be accommodated in these parking areas are asked to call the University Police Department to make other arrangements.

Up-to-date university parking rules and regulations, color-coded campus maps that show parking areas and shuttle bus stops, and shuttle bus schedules are available at www.wcsu.edu/parking.
