Assistant Football Coach

Western Connecticut State University is an NCAA Division III member, competing in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Applications for a part-time football intern coaching position are being accepted. Duties will include recruiting, coaching a position, opponent scouting & video breakdown (LRS Sports), practice preparation, and other auxiliary duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree required. Previous coaching experience, preferably at the intercollegiate level, is desirable. Must have knowledge and an understanding of NCAA rules/regulations for Division III Football. Highly developed organizational, managerial, and motivational skills are desired. Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and Playmaker software as well as Internet knowledge as it relates to scouting and recruiting. WCSU is a dynamic, diverse workplace and the ability to work with students, faculty and staff from various backgrounds and cultures is highly valued.
The review of applications will begin immediately. These positions will start immediately and continue until May 2009 with the possibility of an extension with satisfactory performance. Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience.
