"The TOEFL Exam: What You Need to Succeed"
Students who are non-native speakers of English and do not hold a High School Diploma earned in the USA must successfully pass the TOEFL Exam to be admitted to any accredited institute of higher learning. Recently, changes to the TOEFL Exam now require prospective students to also show proficiency with spoken English, as well as Grammar, Reading Comprehension, and Writing. This course is designed to give you the confidence, knowledge, and understanding needed to successfully pass the exam. It is not only the subject matter of the test that should be mastered, but how the test is taken that makes a big difference in the
overall score. Practice tests taken from actual past exams, exercises, and test-taking methodologies will be covered as well as the opportunity to discover individual learning styles that aid in an overall, effective understanding and approach to the TOEFL Exam. Seating is limited to allow more individual instruction, so register early! Registration begins December 5th. Books can be purchased at the WCSU bookstore. Classes begin Wednesday, Dec. 26, at 6:30 p.m.
